This clinic focuses on the two most common struggles shooters have with red dot sights on pistols: finding the dot during presentation and keeping it under recoil. Whether you’re brand new to red dots, thinking about trying one, or already running an optic and want to clean up your technique, this class will help. We’ll zero your red dot, work on presentation, improve marksmanship fundamentals with an optic, and give you a clear understanding of how the dot behaves during recoil. You’ll leave with a properly zeroed optic and practical knowledge you can actually use.

Prerequisites

• Solid understanding of safe gun handling and range etiquette. • Prior pistol marksmanship training (basic course or equivalent). • Semi-automatic handgun with properly mounted optic + optic tool (Loaner gear is available upon request). • 150 rounds of ammunition and a minimum of 2 magazines. • Water & Note-taking gear • Eye and ear protection • Quality holster (no Serpa or nylon holsters — reach out if you’re unsure about your gear).
