Live-FireEDC Defensive Pistol Course
Testing and evaluating your everyday carry can help to tune skills, maximize proficiency, and minimize the unnecessary. This course is the standard by which we train here at Apache Solutions LLC and is essential for those who wish to become better shooters and, overall, more responsible armed citizens.
Course Description
The Every Day Carry (EDC) – Defensive Pistol Fundamentals course is Apache Solutions’ flagship course and the foundation for all of our defensive handgun training.
This hands-on, 8-hour course goes far beyond basic marksmanship. It is designed to help you confidently and efficiently integrate your everyday carry tools into real-world defensive scenarios. Whether you’re new to defensive pistol training or looking to sharpen your skills after a Concealed Carry class, this course will dramatically improve your ability to protect yourself and your loved ones.
You will learn practical skills, including:
• Drawing efficiently from concealment
• Proper pistol presentation and ready positions
• Clearing malfunctions and stoppages under stress
• Engaging from unconventional shooting positions
• Verbalization and de-escalation techniques
• Less-lethal options and integration
• Essential handgun manipulation and accuracy under realistic conditions
This is not just range time — it’s skill-building for real life. By the end of the day, you’ll leave with greater confidence, improved proficiency, and a clearer understanding of how to carry and use your EDC tools responsibly and effectively.
Perfect for responsible armed citizens who want to move beyond basic safety and marksmanship into practical, defensive application.
