GUNSET: Real World Trauma

Enjoy this one day, 8 hour offering of the most up to date methods of managing trauma emergencies. Real World Trauma will teach you the proven techniques of: bleeding control, penetrating trauma management, chest trauma management, modern tourniquets, kit construction, patient triage, EMS contact expectations, and many other “real world” trauma topics. Developed and taught by experienced Fire/EMS professionals, Real World Trauma is based on the most up to date pre-hospital trauma standards and military standards of TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Control)

In Real World Trauma, we drive home the understanding that EVERYONE can develop these skills to positively impact the outcome of traumatic injury. We bridge the gap from the teachings of the EMS and “tactical” worlds to something more applicable to the everyday citizen.
